Hello and welcome to the 49 Degrees North Spotlight, a look back at classic episodes from the 49 Degrees North writers podcast about Canadian writers and the business of writing.

In this episode, I chatted with SB Edwards about working on cult sci-fi TV show “Travelers,” and her awesome punk rock feature “Fall Back Down,” which is now streaming somewhere in the world. You should definitely go watch it. We also talked about the ups-and-downs of working in Canadian TV, but tried hard not to focus too much on the negative aspects.

The audio is improving. Slightly? Maybe? It definitely does get better. Trust me on that one. The conversation with SB ties in nicely with the previous two episodes, and reinforces the need for writers to be making their own projects. I can’t stress that enough. If I learned anything from these incredible creators, it’s that you can’t wait for the gig… you have to make the gig. Check out the episode yourself and let me know what you think.
