You read that right. I’m starting a writers podcast!

What is it?

The 49 degrees north writers podcast is an informal chat with Canadian writers about writing and working in the Canadian film & TV industry.

I wanted to speak with other writers about their writing processes, breaking-in, and their thoughts on the  TV and film production process in Canada.

Why do I need another writing podcast?

Most of the podcasts out there are about breaking into the US industry. As a result we know more about the US industry than the Canadian industry. I wanted to learn more about the differences between them, and how TV gets made in Canada. I also wanted to discuss what we’re doing right, and identify areas where we need to improve.
